Preliminary Note:
- Inspecting the underside of the belt or "pockets" is a necessary step of each belt rotation and inspection to ensure that the belt will continue to run smoothly.
Parts Needed:
- Passenger Side Rexnord Belt (E-C2069)
- Driver Side Rexnord Belt (E-C2070)
Tools Needed:
- Flathead Screwdriver
Procedure:
- Put in Wash Stop.
- Take the belt apart following the instructions in this Video.
- Inspect the rectangular holes or "pockets" on the underside of the belt. If both corners are rounded off, it is time to replace the belt. If one side is still squared with little to no wear, you can rotate the belt.
- Inspect the rod channel, if the rod is visible, you must replace this section.
- Once half of the belt is inspected, reconnect and rotate the belt to inspect the other half.
- Once complete, re-assemble belt.
- Disengage wash stop.
