Work Instructions: Installing Cord-Grips on the Mat Washer Control Box.
Issue: The Mat Washer control box will allow excess moisture in and can cause damage to the Mat Washer Motherboard. When the Motherboard is damaged, the Mat Washer will stop working and Guests will not be able to wash their floor mats.
The Cord-Grips will stop a lot of the moisture from getting into the control box and the Motherboards will not get damaged.
Parts needed:
- 5x Control Cox Wires Seal (tommycarwash.com)
- Duct Sealing compound
Instructions:
- Remove power from the Mat Washer by removing the power cord from the power outlet.
- Disconnect and mark all wires attached to the Motherboard that lead outside of the control box.
- Install the Cord-Grips on the Control Box where the red arrows are located.
- Feed the wires through the Cord-Grips
- Reconnect the wires to the Motherboard.
- Apply the Duct Sealing compound around the Ribbon cord opening and seal the opening.
- Restore power to the Mat Washer by connecting the power cord to the power outlet.
