Work Instructions: V-Tech Phone base states: "No power at Base or Phone out of Range".
Issue: V-Tech VSP725 Phone base is stating "No power at Base or Phone out of Range".
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the power from the phone base.
A. The Phone base is typically located in either the S.I.C. or the IT cabinet.
B. Unseat both the DC power barrel connector and the CAT5e/Ethernet Cable from the Phone Base.
2. Remove the battery from the Handset.
A. Remove the Back cover from the Handset.
B. Unseat the battery connector from the Handset.
C. Remove the Battery from the Handset.
3. Wait a few minutes and then reconnect power to the phone base.
A. Reseat both the DC Power Barrel connector and the CAT5e/Ethernet Cable
4. Reinstall the handset batteries.
A. insert the Battery into the Handset
B. Reseat the Battery connector into the Handset.
C. Reinstall the Battery cover on the Handset.
5. Wait 1 minute for the Handset to re-establish a link with the telephone base and test the phone again.
