Work Instructions: Inspecting and Replacing The R.O system Sediment Filter
Preliminary Note: The sediment filter should be replaced every 3-6 months depending on its inspection.
Parts Needed
- RO filter cap (if broken) ((P-WAT-2514))
- RO filter lock ring (if broken) ((P-WAT-2515)
- Sediment Filter (P-WAT-2414)
Procedure
- Turn the Reverse Osmosis System off. Place a Lock-out-Tag-out the R.O. System
- Ensure the pressure at PRS1 is 0 psi.
- Remove the snap ring on top of the unit.
- Remove the cap on top of the unit by pulling it up on the cap’s handles.
- Remove the filter.
- Insert the replacement filter.
- Insert the cap.
- Insert the snap ring, and ensure it snaps into the groove to adequately contain the cap.
- Remove the Lock-out-Tag-out and turn the R.O. System back on.
